When Dee had shown her mother the Discipline Report which parents had to sign if their daughter had been punished at school that day, she found her mother surprisingly amiable. Very often, such reports led to a trip across mum's knee and a painful dose of the hairbrush, but today Dee was relieved when her mother smiled, cocked and eyebrow, and asked:

"Was it very painful?" 

"Well, six of the best by the Headmaster with his senior cane isn't exactly a joyride. But honestly, mum, the worst bit is the preparation. You know, when you're bent over the desk and he lifts up your skirt and starts pulling down your knickers. It's so totally embarrassing."

"I know what you mean, dear," said her mother, putting an arm around the girl's shoulder. "It was just as bad in my day, although of course we were beaten by the Headmistress."

Dee opened her eyes wide. She'd never heard her mother talk like this before.

"Tell me about it, mum."

"Well, she was a bit of a dragon. If she was going to cane you, she'd make you bend over and then, like you said, she'd raise your skirt and pull down your panties, but then she'd run her hand slowly all over your bottom, as though she was testing it out. I suppose she got some sort of kick out of it, but in all honestly, I don't think it would have been so bad if it had been a man touching me. Especially that good-looking Headmaster of yours!"

"Mum, you're outrageous! Well, next time, you can take the caning instead of me!"

They both laughed.

"Go on then, show me your stripes and then well have a cup of coffee."

Sometimes mums can be really surprising.
